Awarded for the first time in 2013 with the blue flag, it has a bar, beach facilities, a library and entertainment guaranteed throughout the bathing season, providing all the leisure and fun conditions. In the Reconquinho is also located the center of Trail Running Carlos Sá, with the particularity that this place is the starting point for all existing trail trails in the municipality of Penacova.
Situated right on the Mondego River, Reconquinho River Beach is about 1.5 km from the village of Penacova from where you can walk down a hill. Surrounded by a natural landscape where green is the dominant color, this beach is next to a campsite and has good support facilities.
The beach is connected to the other side of the river by a wooden pedestrian bridge also used for diving jumps.
