Ribeira do Cavalo Beach is a wild beach located very close to the village of Sesimbra in the west. Unsupervised beach with no support conditions and access is by a track with about 800 meters, where the last 100 meters become difficult to walk for those who do not have a good agility; For this reason we do not advise anyone under the age of 15 or over 50. The Port of Sesimbra has companies that do boat transportation, combining with them the best time to go and return.
It is a Portuguese paradise and is a great alternative to Sesimbra s California Beach  , which is always crowded with people and smells like food from restaurants 10 meters from the beach. The Ribeira do  Cavalo beach has a turquoise water so clear that it could easily be mistaken for a Thai beach.
