The Fluvial Beach of Monsaraz, is the first beach of Alqueva Blue Flag and accessible, with all the quality features that these equipments may have, having won the 2nd place of "Beach + Accessible".
It features a floating pool for children and adults, a poolside bar and restaurant. It also has a shady grassy area for warmer days and parking.
The Blue Beach, already awarded the Blue Flag and classified as “Accessible Beach”, for meeting the access requirements for disabled people, and Healthy Beach, for meeting the safety and environmental quality standards, will be 120 meters extension, indicated the municipality.
The Fluvial Beach of Monsaraz , is located in the Nautical Center of Monsaraz, in an inland area far from the sea and combining the offerings already existing in the municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz, the first river beach of the reservoir of Alqueva.
The Monsaraz River Beach has all the environmental, safety and comfort features needed to get the Blue Flag award from its opening date in the 2019 bathing season.
Thus, the first Blue Flag river beach of the Alqueva reservoir offers its visitors and users a set of infrastructures designed to be accessible by all, winning the Beach + Accessible Award 2019 .

Opening hours : from 09h00 to 19h00, every day during the bathing season
Parking :
- General park with 450 seats, 120 meters from the accessible entrance of the beach.
- Park reserved for disabled people with approved parking card: 4 seats 5 meters from accessible beach entrance
- Park with places for disabled users without card (pregnant, elderly, etc.): 3 places 20 meters from the accessible entrance to the beach.
The general park is always open.
Car parks are public without charge.
