The EN304 was discovered by Ford as part of the Europes Greatest Driving Roads video series and is described as wide, with a good floor and well-paced curves and incredible views.
We had all heard of the unparalleled beauty of the EN222 between Pinhão and Régua, several times classified as one of the most beautiful in the world, but the wonders of the Portuguese roads are not here. It is now Ford that says that the EN304 on the route between Ribas and Mondim de Basto, where it passes through the Alvão Natural Park, “may be the best road in Europe”.
