Opening the doors of a secular building and providing contact and sharing experiences with a family that has long been rooted in Durian and linked to wine production has been part of the mission of the  Saint Anthony House of Britiande  - since 1991 , for housing tourism, wine tourism, events and other activities related to gastronomy and leisure.

Casa de Santo António is located in Britiande (a small village 5 km from Lamego in the Viseu district), in the middle of the Cister Vineyards Route and the Port Wine Route, and is in a privileged position to discover. the magnificent scenery of the Alto Douro Wine Region - the worlds first Demarcated Region, created by the Marquis of Pombal on September 10, 1756; and a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 14 December 2001.
