The Serralves Foundation Museum of Contemporary Art is in the Portuguese city of Porto.

The building, designed by architect Siza Vieira, is surrounded by the 3.5-acre Serralves Park, where works of art by various contemporary artists are also exhibited alongside the typical flora of northern Portugal, like oaks, birches and the yew.

The Museum is already considered an international reference point for contemporary art exhibitions. In the permanent collection of the museum, where many prominent artists are referenced, it is essentially made up of works from the late 1960s to the present day.

The Serralves Museum project , designed by architect Álvaro Siza, began in 1991. In 1999 this new building was inaugurated, harmoniously integrated with the urban surroundings and the pre-existing spaces of the gardens of the Park and the House.
