Alentejo in Portugal River Beach voted the best in Europe
The Tapada Grande River Beach in the São Domingos Mine, Mértola municipality, was elected for the first time the best European destination in the "Interior" Beaches category. In addition to the best European destination award, Portugal has won 37 more of the World Travel Awards, the Oscars of Tourism.
This beach located in the interior of Alentejo, has blue flag and lifeguard swimmer. Parasols, picnic tables and barbecues are also available.
