Whats on your travel wish list for 2019? We chatted with some of the worlds top travel experts to find out where they want to go next. From a colorful beach town in Belize that is slowly becoming discovered to an unexpected European country with a vibrant new art scene, here are the most interesting places in the world to travel in 2019.

Where: Anguilla, Caribbean

Why: You  will be hard-pressed to find more spectacular beaches in the Caribbean than in the beautiful British overseas territory of Anguilla. From long stretches of crystalline white sand on Rendezvous Bay to sparkling Maundays Bay, Anguilla is a honeymoon tourist spot and also ideal for a family vacation. The iconic  Belmond Cap Juluca will  soon reopen on December 15  th   after a complete renovation and will feature a brand new oceanfront infinity pool as well as a touch of Venetian glamor at Ciprianis new Cip restaurant. There will also be a new Cap Shack where you will enjoy rum punch and eat barbecue tapas on the beach of a food truck while rocking to refresh the melodies of calypso under the stars.

Why: You  may think you know about Los Cabos, but did you know that one of the largest protected national marine parks in the world is only 100 kilometers south? Cabo Pulmo National Park used to be overexploited before the park became officially protected in the 1990s; It is also a UNESCO site due to its rich biodiversity, high productivity and marine beauty. Cabo Pulmo spans eight kilometers along the coast of Baja California Sur and is home to North Americas oldest west coast reef. (Fishermen have learned how to be scuba masters to keep the ocean healthy and full of fish.) There you can find sea turtles, sea lions, dolphins and humpback whales. Thanks to the success of the National Marine Park, travelers can now go kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding or snorkeling / scuba diving with sea lions and even (friendly) bull sharks. Enrique Silvas organic farm   and restaurant   in Los Tamarindos where you can harvest your produce and have a meal with it. There are several hotels to visit, including the newly opened  Montage Los Cabos  and the upcoming  Four Seasons Costa Palmas  due to open in 2019.
