Porto is a charming city, situated on the slopes of the Douro River, close to its mouth. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO thanks to its beautiful monuments and historic buildings, such as the imposing Sé or Clérigos Tower, Porto is Portugals second largest city and boasts superb views of the world-famous Port Wine Cellars on the bank. opposite of the river in Vila Nova de Gaia. Although largely industrialized, Porto offers a harmonious synthesis of ancient and contemporary attractions.
The Porto district is a dynamic center of commerce and industry, full of beautiful thriving towns and cities. Along the coast, you can take a break in the seaside town of Espinho, taste tasty fish in Matosinhos or spend some relaxing moments at the Póvoa Casino. Inland, there is the beautiful city of Amarante, known for its delicious pastries, where you can take a stroll along the banks of the River Tâmega between beautiful 16th century manors.
Aveiro
Aveiro is a city on the Portuguese west coast founded by a lagoon known as Ria de Aveiro. It is distinguished by its channels navigated by colorful boats (moliceiro boats), traditionally used for harvesting algae. Not far from the center, known for its art nouveau buildings, is the Sé de Aveiro, with its prominent belfry. The Aveiro Museum, housed in a former convent, has an extravagant marble-built tomb.

Madeira is the main island of the Madeira archipelago, an autonomous region of Portugal facing the northwest coast of Africa. The rugged and volcanic landscape is crossed by levadas (old irrigation canals) with walking trails. A trail climbs to Pico Ruivo. The wineries, which produce the generous Madeira wine, are spread all over the island. On the south coast, the capital, Funchal, is known for its 16th century cathedral.

Lagos
Lagos is a town in the Algarve region in southern Portugal. It is known for its walled old town, cliffs and Atlantic beaches. Steep wooden steps lead to the sandy cove of Camilo Beach. The nearby cliffs of Ponta da Piedade offer stunning views of the headland and a lighthouse. St. Anthonys Church, an ornate 18th-century church, is opposite the Governors Castle, a castle with a baroque facade and towers.
