Known for its always fresh fish stalls, Livramento Market was considered, in 2015, by USA Today as one of the best fish markets in the world. Besides fish, in the market - or square, as it is known among the people of Setubalenses, there are also vegetables, aromatic herbs and regional products such as wine, honey, various bread qualities and local crafts.
Every day the market is sought by tourists, who come not only for the products, but also to photograph the nineteenth century tile panel, with more than five thousand pieces, which depicts scenes from everyday life.
