Tree Houses - Tree Houses

Inserted in the project of Parque de Pedras Salgadas and designed by architect Luís Rebelo de Andrade, the tree houses emerged from the challenge of creating an element that could meet the imagination of the tree houses. The idea was to create an object that deviates from orthogonality and pre-established concepts associated with construction. This house, developed in partnership with Modular System, uses a technology already tested in prototypes that allows a light and self-supporting construction.

 

Slate and wood coverings, a native raw material, help foster landscape integration and give invisibility to these architectural houses, thus maintaining the prominence of this century-old park.

 

Inside, the tree houses have two windows, one for watching the life that runs in the park and the other for star gazing, a 2-part bathroom, a kitchenette, a double bed and a sofa.

 

Sustainability and ecology have always been present in the development of this project: the non-sealing of the soil, the reinforced coatings and insulation, the reuse of black water, the low consumption lighting systems using LED technology, among other solutions found, give coherence and reason. from being to intervention.
