Porto Electric Car Museum Portugal
Inaugurated in 1992, the Electric Car Museum has a collection of electric cars and other support cars that circulated in Porto and marked the history of urban rail transport in the city. Also part of its collection is a sample of American cars, first circulated in Porto in 1872. Housed in the former Massarelos Thermoelectric Power Station, a building of municipal interest, the museum also exhibits a series of original equipment intended for the production and transformation of the electricity that fed the electric traction network throughout the century.
