Braga elected the third city in Europe with the best quality of life Portugal
The northern city has risen 12 positions in the ranking in the last three years. Health, education and housing are the areas that most satisfy the residents.
The city of Braga was considered, among 83 European locations, as the 12th with the best quality of life, achieving a level of satisfaction of 97%, the European Commission announced this Friday.
The findings are the result of the Perception of Quality of Life in European Cities survey , which places Minho as the only representative of Portugal in the "top 15" published by Brussels. The ranking is led by the cities of Oslo, Zurich, Aalborg, Vilnius and Belfast.

This is how the mayor of Braga Ricardo Rio reacts, in statements to JN, to the news that the city was considered the second best European destination. The mayor underlines that The rating obtained will bring "huge visibility to Braga in the future, with the consequent advantages in terms of tourism and business.
