The historic Douro train ride is one of the three most beautiful train rides in the world
Slowly crossing one of the most original landscapes in the world, among terraces, vineyards and patches of water, the historical Douro Train runs along the most original national railway line, 36 kilometers between Régua and Tua, in an old locomotive. It is considered one of the most beautiful train rides in Portugal. This year, although there will be half fewer trips on the program, the historic Douro Line train will shine every Saturday from 1 June to 26 October. There is only one extra trip outside this calendar: on the holiday of August 15th.
