Initially, this was a project of a house for wine friends that would become the first wine hotel in the region. However, what you drink even at Monverde is a true harmony with the surrounding nature and the feeling of infinite peace.

The Hotel Monverde project was born among the grapes and vineyards of Quinta da Lixa, between our conversations, the inspirations and aspirations. Initially it would be "a big house" for our wine friends, but over time, and stone by stone, it grew, took root and became a "serious thing."

Monverde is our face, it is a reflection of what today is Quinta da Lixa and our passion for wine and what nature gives us. We have a great passion for wine and all that surrounds it, its mysteries, what we know about it and what makes each goal different. Monverde is the opportunity to share with you, with the world, with each other, our knowledge and flavors.
