Calouste Gulbenkian Planetarium Lisbon Portugal
The Calouste Gulbenkian Planetarium was built between 1963 and 1965, designed by architect Frederico George. On July 20, 1965 was inaugurated integrated in the Navy Museum.
The installation of a modern astronomical projection apparatus in a semi-spherical dome room brought true the former dream of a Marine Officer, and brilliant amateur astronomer, Commander Eugénio Conceição Silva.
